Today The Flash made an appearance at the Halloween party for Mrs. Harris’ class. The Flash won a sticky-spider-toss game, after getting two bullseyes. He also took part in the Millridge Halloween parade, which was held in the gym due to rain.
It was still raining during trick-or-treating, but that did not stop The Flash from going the full two hours! This year Alan was also brave enough to approach the neighborhood house where the owner answers the door with a chainsaw. The brave souls who dare knock on the door receive a treat better than candy — a toy sword that lights up in the dark. When he came home, Alan proudly ran over to show me the evidence of his great triumph!
Note: The Flash was the costume of choice this year following Alan’s summer of being the fastest member of the Yankees. Alan’s scary classmate pictured with him above is De’Onta.
Upon closer examination, we realized that like Alan, Daddy also chose to be Batman for Halloween in first grade! It’s uncanny sometimes how similar we are.
Today I met up with Batman while at the Halloween party in Mrs. Russo’s classroom. Batman played a musical chairs-style game with a ‘hot potato’ pumpkin, made a craft, and participated in the Millridge Halloween parade!
Then later in the evening, it was another year of trick-or-treating with Cassidy and Xavier!
Alan — I mean Gecko from PJ Masks — participated in his first Millridge Halloween parade today.
Then he went Trick-or-Treating with Cassidy and Xavier for the 3rd straight year!
Superman was back protecting the streets of Mayfield Heights tonight! Alan had a blast Trick-or-Treating with Cassidy and Xavier!
Mrs. Davisson’s Pre-K class was the most well-protected class in the world today, as several superheroes–led by SuperAlan–showed up for the Halloween party. The superheroes huddled up before breaking for a parade around the classrooms of St . Clare!
